November is Prematurity Awareness Month!

In an AVERAGE week in Mississippi, there are
815 babies born
123 babies to teen moms (15-19 years old)
153 babies born preterm
96 babies born low birthweight
8 babies die before their 1st birthday

just something to think about. Maternal education and prenatal care are vitally important to the health of our babies!!
